During School Activities

Junior Choir

The Junior Choir is made up of selected Years 2 and 3 students that display a passion for singing and performing. The choir comes together weekly to rehearse. We welcome students in the choir based on the expectation that students will participate with enthusiasm, work together, display positive behaviours and commit to the weekly rehearsals. We enjoy learning new songs and embrace performance opportunities in the community.

Senior Choir

The Senior Choir is for students from Year 4 – 6.  We welcome students in the choir based on the expectation that students will participate with enthusiasm, work together, display positive behaviours and commit to the weekly rehearsals, as it is a privilege to be involved in this group.  Selection of Senior Choir students happens in the first few weeks of Term 1 when students can attend ‘trial’ choir rehearsals.  After two weeks of trials, students will be offered a place in the Senior Choir for the year.  In order to accept this position students and parents must sign a Choir contract which outlines the expected behaviours of a Senior Choir member.  Rehearsals take place once a week and the group performs throughout the year at events such as the ANZAC Day Service, One Big Voice Festival, Baldivis Singfest and the Graduation Ceremony.

BASSA (Baldivis And Surrounding Schools Association)

In term 1, 2 and 4 Students from years 4-6 are involved in interschool sport with the surrounding Baldivis schools. Students nominate and try out for the sport prior to each carnival. Teachers then select students based on skill level, effort and level of sportsmanship shown throughout these try out sessions.
